Beppu Dining
Two restaurants under the Beppu Group, both in Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill: a Japanese kitchen making handmade udon since 2004, and a Nanyang kitchen whose chef's family has cooked Singaporean food for three generations — over sixty years.

One shop, two names
Yummy Sanuki Handmade Udon and Yummy Kissaten (Yummy Japanese Western Cuisine) are the same shop at the same address.
The two names describe two faces of one menu — kissaten cooking and tea on one side, Sanuki and Inaniwa handmade udon on the other. If you see both names in different places, they are both here.
What the two have in common
The two kitchens cook entirely different cuisines, but they took the same route: both brought a family's working knowledge to Hong Kong, rather than copying a business model that works elsewhere.
- Yummy: since 2004, bringing Japanese udon craft to Diamond Hill
- BUGIS: three generations of Singaporean cooking, moved over unchanged — nothing adjusted for the Hong Kong market
Both are in Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill, directly connected to the MTR station, and about a five-minute walk from Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden.
Awards and recognition
The group has been recognised by media, mall operators, government departments and professional bodies — including U Magazine Favourite Restaurant (2019), the Environment Bureau Outdoor Lighting Charter Platinum Award (2018), and Quality OSH Restaurant from the Occupational Safety and Health Council (2013). The full record is on the awards page.
